- Some woman say that the Bible teaches woman should wear dresses, jumpers or skirts all the time.
- Yet the word "jumper" is not in the Bible.
- Then they take the passage in I Samuel that says " ...a man should not dress like a woman nor a woman like a man" out of context to teach that the Bible says women are to wear dresses 24/7.
- They teach shorts are evil, and un-biblical.
- "Shorts" are not mentioned in the Bible at all.
- "Pants" are not mentioned in the Bible either.
- Yet they say a woman is backslidden if she wears pants, shorts,or capris.
- "Capris" are not even in the Bible.
- Also, they ignore the passage in I Samuel that says " ...nor should a man violate his father's skirt."
- If they take the other passage out of its proper context, who is to say they want do the same with this one.
- Men and woman both wore skirts in the Bible days.
- No one argues they should do the same now.
- Why not? In this day, and time in history it is a cultural thing for men not to wear skirts unless they are "sodomites" /homosexuals.
- The only exception to this is for Scottish men and women to wear kilts because that is part of their culture.
- Reality/Conclusion overall: It is a woman's personal conviction as to whether she wears a dress at all times or not.
- It is not a direct command from God and should be interpreted from the Bible as such, or taught that it is.

Dresses All the Time? Conviction or Command?
BBN:Confuses Coniction vs. Command when it comes to music
- The BBN home page is so incorrect concerning music.
- It mixes conviction vs. command up big time.
- It claims that Contemporary Christian music is watered down, and ungodly music which is such a lie.
- Just because the back ground part of the music is different that hymns does not make it worldly.
- With this logic many hymns would be wrong because the background to them are based upon other songs with the words changed.
- It is the words and their message that make the music.
- Not the background a lone.
